A fictional Agent J.B. adventure · Comic edition
One unhappy guest. Three agents. One chance to listen.
J.B. takes command. Park keeps watch. Tito brings the QR code—and his appetite. A fictional action-comedy mission in New York City.
In a dim operations room, Agent J.B. catches a wooden ball engraved SANTAELLA. On the prediction screen, a glamorous diner reaches for her phone. One star. Cold food. Nobody has helped her yet.
J.B.: “We still have time.”
The technician opens an armored case. Inside: a glowing QR table tent. The team prepares for action. Tito hears the restaurant’s name and immediately thinks of mofongo. When he turns around, the others are already leaving.
TITO: “We’re going to Santaella? Awesome! I wanna get a mofongo!”
Three floating motorcycles race above an ordinary Manhattan avenue. J.B. leads. Park follows. Wearing his regular black tactical agent uniform, Tito trails behind with his helmet facing backward. He straightens it as the team banks toward the restaurant.
TITO: “¡Espérenme!”
Dressed as a server in a burgundy waistcoat, white shirt, and black tie, Tito approaches with a calm, serious expression and sets the glowing QR tent on the diner’s table. Across the room, Park keeps watch behind a potted palm. The diner notices the invitation to share her experience.
“How was your experience?”
She scans, taps the unhappy face, and sends a message. The manager reads it and brings a fresh, steaming meal with an apologetic smile. Her expression softens. Someone listened.
DINER: “My food is cold. Could someone help?”
At headquarters, the screen turns green. A smiling face appears. Confetti fills the room. The staff cheers while the technician hugs the empty briefcase, overcome with relief.
SAVED. One guest heard. One mission completed.
Outside the restaurant, J.B. raises his radio. Park heads toward the motorcycles. Tito follows in his regular tactical uniform, carrying takeout bags. Some missions come with dinner.
J.B.: “Mission accomplished.”
Floating motorcycles and prediction screens belong to the story. Collecting feedback and giving your team a chance to respond are the real-world ideas behind this mission.
